Nicolas

Nicolas is a sports physio specialising in musculoskeletal conditions, running injuries and Exercise Therapy.

Physiotherapist

A sportsman since childhood, it was only natural that I specialised in sports physiotherapy after obtaining my physiotherapy diploma from the Université Catholique de Louvain in 2002.

For more than 20 years, I have worked at the Mounier centre, as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer from 2002 to 2008, and as a member of the physiotherapy team within the Sports Medicine unit of the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc from 2003 to 2022. I wanted to continue the adventure there by creating “Mounier Health & Sports Care”.

Specialising in the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions (traumatic or overuse), I am also certified by the Clinique du Coureur, a continuing education body for health professionals that has become a world reference in the prevention and treatment of running injuries.

I have also long been interested in physical activity and movement for health. Trained in APA (Adapted Physical Activities), I am a keen advocate of Exercise Therapy, which I have practised since 2004. At the Cliniques Saint-Luc first, where I worked with numerous departments (Anxiety Clinic, Obesity Clinic, psychiatry, etc.), and for several years now in the fitness room of the Mounier centre, I support sedentary people and those suffering from a chronic or serious illness in taking up physical activity again.

I also take part in training physiotherapy students as a technical adviser at UCL, and as a placement supervisor for Parnasse (Haute Ecole Vinci).
