Interclubs and Tournaments

An official competition organised by the padel federations, the AFP or the AFTPadel, which allows two players to meet other pairs in a first group phase where they will play 3 matches.

If the pair qualifies, they move on to the final phase.

The duration is +-3h, and matches are played either at the weekend or on weekday evenings.

Level 50 = Beginner

Then 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 / 700

Level 1000 = Pro

Ladies = WD (WD50, 100, etc…)

Men = MD (MD100, 200, etc…)

Group matches are played as one set, the first to reach 9 games wins, tie break at 8-8.

In the final phase, from the semi-finals onwards, the match is played as best of 2 sets.

To register, you must have a valid licence (as must your partner), and register in your level category. A player can register in their own category or in a maximum of one category above. E.g.: a 100 can register in 200. To have priority, however, at least one of the two players must have the level of the category in which the pair is registering, and be among the first. Tournaments open 1 month before the start and according to the following times:

17h00: 50 – 300 – 500 / Juniors

18h00: 200 – 700

19h00: 100 – 1000 / Veterans

20h00: 400 / Mixed

To register, you must create an account on the afp or aft federation website.

The average price is €20/player.

No, you must have a licence from the padel federation organising the tournament in order to take part.

Licences are sold via affiliated clubs, and are valid per calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December).

The price per licence is €31.10 to be paid into the club account with your licence2024+name as the reference: BE26 7350 5293 7029

In 2024, the tournaments organised at Padel Club Mounier are held under the AFP Padel.

Group matches take place from the end of March to the beginning of June. Teams are grouped by level in groups of 4 to 5 teams (3 to 4 matches), and then progress according to their results into the final phases.

In 2023, the team matches will be organised from levels 50 to 1000, on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.

The duration is +-4h, and matches are played either in the morning or in the afternoon depending on the schedule.

Of course! From December, the Club organises training matches to determine levels, pairs, numbers of teams, …

Only members who are paid up for the entire duration of the interclubs can play. Teams of annual or fixed-term members will have priority.

A team can be helped out by a maximum of 2 non-members. The amount for one-off participation in the interclubs is then €80 excluding licence.

Included:

the team registration fees for the championship

participation in matches during interclub fixtures

the complimentary drink for the players and their opponents

You need a minimum of 6 players to create a team, but as a precaution 8 to 10 players is a must (unavailability, injuries, car or alarm clock breakdown,…).

The membership paid at Mounier includes free participation in one interclubs team.

To allow all members to access the courts, Padel Club Mounier limits members to one team participation.

If a member registered in a team and who has already played during the same weekend in interclubs is called upon to help out another team short of players for an exceptional reason (and according to the rules permitted by the AFP regulations), they must pay €10/match played. Amount to be paid into the club account on the day of the match.
