Tennis activities
ARTICLE 1: ACTIVITY – The Tennis Club Mounier (ETM) makes available to its customers the courts, equipment, accessories, programmes and services relating to tennis lessons. The ETM is an entity of the Centre sportif Mounier which offers its customers holding lessons tennis lessons during the period and duration of lessons defined according to the chosen package.
ARTICLE 2: LIABILITY – The ETM has civil liability insurance. The ETM's liability is engaged as soon as an accident is caused by a defect in the facilities or machines, or by a sudden and unforeseeable event during tennis lessons. However, liability may be shared, in the sense that the Customer may also be liable through their own act for damage caused to themselves or others if they do not comply with the recommendations of the centre's staff or the indications and rules of the sport concerned.
ARTICLE 3: PRE-REGISTRATION, CONFIRMATION, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS – Access to tennis lessons takes place exclusively after booking and payment of the lessons and confirmation of the day/time with the customer. The ETM invites the customer to provide it with 3 time slots in order of preference as a mandatory requirement. The ETM team will try to respond positively to the customer's request. If the proposed lesson time corresponds to one of the customer's 3 preferences, and given the workload already undertaken, the pre-registration amount is considered due. On the other hand, if no other slot proposed suits the customer outside their wishes, a refund will be made. If the proposed schedule is agreed, the customer undertakes to pay the balance of the lessons within 20 days following confirmation. Refunds of the deposit for reasons other than the time slot will no longer be possible after 31 July for annual and winter registrations of the current year.
ARTICLE 4: ABSENCE AND REFUND – Cycles: When the lesson is scheduled and given, a student's absence gives no right to any refund or catch-up. Courses: For organisational reasons, no refund or credit note will be made unless a medical certificate is presented at the latest 7 days before the start of the course. For those registered, no refund will be made after registration or for missed lessons except in the event of injury occurring during ETM lessons (on presentation of the accident report) or long-term incapacity (minimum 1 month, justified by medical certificate). In such a case, the incapacity must be reported within a maximum of 7 days following the (temporary) stopping of lessons at the email address tennis@mounier.be. The refund will then be made up to 50% of the missed lessons from the date of the medical certificate. No catch-up will be provided either for any absence attributable to the player. The Centre Sportif reserves the right to choose the refund method and the amount that may be granted to the student.
ARTICLE 5: ACCESS TO COURTS AND INTERNAL RULES – Minors may access the centre under the responsibility of at least one adult. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the courts. Animals are not allowed. The customer affirms that their constitution and physical state of health allow them to practise the sports offered and to use the services, activities, equipment and facilities made available by the ETM. The ETM recommends that you consult a doctor every year before taking part in any activities. The ETM cannot be held responsible for thefts within the centre. Customers comply with the conditions of use of the various accessories and equipment made available to them (courts, changing rooms and toilets). Any person present in the Centre Sportif undertakes to comply with the prescriptions and directives given to them by members of staff and agrees to produce their identity card and allow a photocopy to be taken on their first request, failing which they will be immediately expelled. Entry to the Centre Sportif is prohibited for persons whose dress is inappropriate and for individuals in a state of intoxication. Any person frequenting the Centre Sportif is asked not to disturb the public with noise, singing, shouting, games or other… Any person frequenting the Centre Sportif for whatever reason is asked to use the most correct language and to dress decently; thus, any person who, through their behaviour, harms the good conduct or proper operation of the Centre Sportif, or who does not comply with the regulatory prescriptions and recommendations made to them by any qualified person, may be expelled and access to the Centre Sportif will then be denied to them either temporarily or permanently. All users, for whatever reason, of the play and/or sports areas are asked to leave the rooms and courts in the state of cleanliness and tidiness in which they found them on entering; any failure in this regard, such as leaving papers, waste, plastic bags… will entitle the Centre Sportif to charge an amount equivalent to the cost of the staff work necessary to remedy the situation, without prejudice to any damages. It is strictly prohibited to move around the Centre Sportif and on all the outdoor surfaces of the Centre with animals, whether or not they are kept on a lead.
