Weather-related policy

With the Padel Club and climbing expansion project starting on 17 June 2024 (see news tab), Tennis Club courts 1 to 3 have been uncovered and will soon be unusable.

Courts 4/5 and 9/10 remain covered throughout the summer season.

To keep lessons in the best possible conditions, the weather-related catch-up policy for tennis school pupils is as follows:

Moderate bad weather during your lesson

As long as bad weather does not disrupt the smooth running of the lesson or compromise the safety of the tennis lesson, it continues. This applies to cold, wind or light rain, provided there are no puddles and the court remains playable according to your coach.

You may therefore have to take a lesson outdoors when the weather is moderately bad. Always bring suitable clothing for the weather.

Severe bad weather

If the weather conditions make the court unplayable, the coach decides to stop the lesson:

• After 30 minutes of the lesson: the lesson is considered to have been fully given. There is no catch-up for lost time.
• Before 30 minutes of the lesson: the coach has two options.

1. It is possible to join another group at the tennis school playing on a playable court. The lesson continues on a shared court.
2. If no court is available, the lesson cannot start or must be stopped. The catch-up date is set by the coach for the time not given.
